Eggy BNC is provided for normal IRC use. Accounts may be suspended or removed for abuse.

| No abuse | No spam, flooding, harassment, evasion, botnet activity, or illegal activity. |
| Public IRC only | Do not use Eggy BNC to target private, local, internal, or server-management addresses. |
| One network | Free accounts are limited to one IRC network unless changed by admin later. |
| Locked real name | Your IRC real name is locked to “Get a free BNC at Eggy.net”. |
| Admin control | Eggy BNC admins may suspend or delete accounts that misuse the service. |
